My husband got home one day with the news that he was promoted.  Of course we were all ecstatic!  However, the promotion also required for him to move and hold office in the corporate headquarters which meant that he had to be relocated from his present office location.   I honestly did know if I was going to be happy or sad with that because I have come to love this place that we have called home.  However, being the dutiful wife, I had no choice but to support him. 

The good thing about this was that the office will be the one to arrange everything including providing the residential movers to help pack our stuff.  Thank goodness that the kids were out of school so they will be able to help out.   The office even sent me a list of the possible schools that I could send the kids in. 

The office also provided me the name of the company where we could rent out mobile storage Raleigh units that we can use to move the other important stuff that will not fit in the car.  Almost all the things are packed and we are rearing to go.

My family is living in the city, but many of my relatives still stay in the rural areas. Here in the city we enjoy all the possibility of the gadgets and home technology, but not them. They only depend on their old radio to keep themselves updated about the news in the city.  They’re television have a very poor reception so it’s also no use.

I told my parents that I wanted to visit our extended family in the reservation. And I suggested that we can surprise them with a new television with antenna and new radio. When we arrived there, we didn’t show them our gifts yet. We showed it after everyone was done eating dinner.  I almost cried, because they are so happy! Especially my cousins, they hugged me so tight.

We put the television on a test then my dad tried to set up the antenna. After two hours we are all enjoying watching the television. This is what waves can do in our lives. I have been a truck driver for the last ten years and I must say I am good driver.
