Current trends in ecological buildings around the world

The two major components of the new technology are green roof top and naturkost. Especially in countries in Europe, North America and Canada, the trend is most prominent.
Green technology, a relatively modern concept, originated in Germany in the 1970s and was surprisingly an adoption from a not so developed economy of Iceland. The reasons for taking up the technology of creating eco friendly Fertighaus were different in the two countries though. Iceland has a constraint of many natural resources that are essential for building construction. Therefore, they adopted the modern technology in order to save money and to make optimum utilization of available resources.

A visitor to Switzerland or Germany gets delighted and also curious seeing most of the rooftops green and with terrace Garten. Some of the cities like Esslingen in Germany have made green roof tops and plantations mandatory for any occupant by framing laws to that extent.
