A mother and child will always have a special bond that no nothing can sever. If there is one person we can never deny ourselves of, it is our mother. Whether we call them mama, mommy or nanay nothing can take away the fact that we owe them our lives. I call mine nanay and for the record she always wanted me to call her mommy but my dad is Ilonggo which by tradition call their moms nanay and so did we. My me and my nanay had gone through it all but I should say that in her I found my bestfriend. We have gone through it all indeed because in those times that we were in crisis we were each other’s helping hand.

I remember the days when we used to sell gold to her friends and I was the one collecting the pay. It would turn out not only to be our bonding moment but just one of our business ventures. We also did sell diamond jewelry which is of much bigger price. I did not only enjoy selling but also the fact that I was her model and I’d get to wear those are not sold yet. These days my mom is busy selling old jewelries on a website which to her is better than any other company, just another lesson I am learning from her and you should too.
