When my parents got their divorced last year, I could not express my dismay and angst about that situation. I dreaded to go to school because I knew everyone would be talking about our family. It will create a stir in our small community in the West. It did not help also that I was one of the funny guys in class and suddenly there I was prim and proper. The divorce took its toll on my personality.  It was like carrying a message on my t-shirt saying: My future’s busted. My parents are divorced. But deep inside me I knew I had to rise up from this situation. Hey, I’m not only one in this predicament. One lazy afternoon, I saw this website on the net. Without giving it much thought, I browsed over the funny t shirts category.

Little did I know, the site gave me the idea on how to overcome my predicament and on how to deal with my problem. I never knew that a piece of clothing will completely turn around my situation.

Four days after, I wore the shirt in school and boy, everyone was laughing not because my parents got divorced but because I was back on track. Their funny class clown came with a happy smile on his face. Later that day, my mom came to our house and was also laughing when she saw my shirt. Seeing this situation, my mom called my dad to talk about my funny shirts. Oh yes, I bought three. They had a good laugh. I guess they were friends and I didn’t have to worry after all.
